General Information
6.4 miles east of Oregon on the south side of Brick Road.

Established 1840 on the original claim of Thomas Stinson, a settler of Ogle County.

Robert Rutledge, our immigrant ancestor from Ireland, is buried in this cemetery along with his wife, Mary Lurvey, and a few of their children. Robert and family owned land between Oregon and the cemetery beginning about 1841.

Robert is the earliest Rutledge ancestor for whom we have a burial site or headstone, the rest are unknown (17 Mar 2017).
