"He was born at Windsor, Mass., Apr. 10, 1860, and married Carrie Stanford, Mar. 6, 1887, in Cherokee County, Iowa. His wife died in 1938.
Pease spent most of his life in Iowa. He moved to Oregon in 1929, and settled at St. Helens. moved to Cottage Grove three years ago.
He is survived by: Six children, Ray and Lester, both of St. Helens; Cecil, of Albany; Mrs. Alice Guilliams, Mrs. Lucy Barkemeyer and Mildred, all of Cottage Grove. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Coleman Funeral Home in St. Helens at 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 5. Interment will be in the Yankton Cemetery, St. Helens. Mills Mortuary, Cottage Grove, is in charge of funeral arrangements."
