"Funeral services for Stephen Albert Huston were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Waggener & Campbell chapel with Amos Crawford of Jehovah's Witnesses officiateing. During the services members of Jehovah's Witnesses sang two selected hyms with piano accompaniment. Internment followed at the lone Pine Cemetery north of Bigfork with Frank, Arthur, Robert, Alfred and Leslie Fox, and Delbert Stubbert as pallbearers.

Stephen Albert Huston was born Oct. 10, 1876 in Fayette County, Iowa. He grew to manhood in Iowa and in 1900 moved to Nebraska. In 1913 he came to the Flathead and had made his home here since with the exception of nine years following 1923. Since making his home here he had been engaged in farming near Bigfork.

Mr. Huston was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
He died Friday, Feb. 20, in Reno, Nev., where he had been visiting for a short time. He was 82 years old at the time of his death.

On Feb. 4, 1920, he was married to his wife, Dora Belle, at Sandpoint, Idaho, and is now survived by his widow at the family home. Besides Mrs. Huston, he is survived by seven children, Robert L. Huston, Mrs. Ella Mae Heuscher, Norman Huston and Marion Huston, all of Bigfork, Mrs. Vera Sampson of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Beverly Lohr of Payson, Ariz., and Mrs. Doris Scott of Polson; 24 grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Huston of Swan Lake, now at Fort Harrison, and three sisters living in Colorado.
