General Information
Source: "A Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Colonial Gentry", Sir Bernard Burke, 1891.

1901 Census of Ireland: daughter, 26yo, [role erasure], not married, born Co Cavan.
[Implied DOB ~1875] Name spelled "Martha".
Living with mother, Elizabeth, certainly the family of Forster Rutledge (b.1816) and already deceased.

1911 Census of Ireland: Head, 48yo [discrep], Shop keeper, single, born Co Cavan.
[Implied DOB ~1863 discrepancy.] Name spelled "Martha".
House 6: Form B2: 1 stable, 1 cow, 1 calf, 1 piggery, 1 fowl.

NOTE: As only person in the household, likely to be same Martha living with mother Elizabeth in 1901 who was 82. Discrepancy in Martha's age leaves 8 years unaccounted for, however this is not the only person whose age is misrepresented on one or more of these census documents for whatever reason, and yet we can be sure it is the correct person. High confidence this is the correct Martha.

NOTE: In 1911, House 6 has a stable and a fowl house where in 1901 it did not. Missing the turf house from 1901. Possible that the turf house became one of the newer buildings, and the other was added.

***Possible transcription error? 1901 Census has her DOB about 1875. If she died at 78yo, her DOD would be 1953, a simple reversal. Needs checked.
