1846 Married Eliza Jane, 8 April, daughter of Col. William Wall and Ann Atkinson.
1848 Moved to New England district.
1849-1854, amassed about 64,000 acres in Burnett and Wide Bay regions.
1862 Wife Eliza Jane died at Brush Farm.
1867 While retired, still had about 80,000 acres in Queensland.
1873 Married Maud Julia Edwards.
1882 Died 30 October at Edgecliff.
